Terms of Sacred Service

By scheduling a consultation, securing a date, or entering into an agreement with Greg Olsen for wedding officiant services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Sacred Service. These terms apply to all consultations, ceremonies, and communications.

Greg Olsen provides ordained wedding officiant services with an emphasis on traditional Christian wedding ceremonies. Each ceremony is thoughtfully customized to honor Christian heritage and the couple's unique journey of love. Officiant responsibilities include pre-ceremony script consultations, delivery of the ceremony, and timely signing and filing of the legal marriage license in accordance with local jurisdictional statutes.

An initial consultation allows us to discuss ceremony visions, script preferences, and logistical details. A wedding date is officially reserved only upon mutual agreement, execution of the officiant service agreement, and receipt of the required booking deposit. Tentative holds without a signed covenant agreement are not guaranteed.

Should circumstances require date or time adjustments, couples must provide written notification as early as possible. Greg Olsen will make every reasonable effort to accommodate revised scheduling subject to calendar availability. Cancellations made by the couple result in forfeiture of the initial deposit to account for reserved calendar time and custom liturgy preparation already completed.

Service fees reflect ceremony customization, rehearsals where contracted, officiation time, and administrative license filing. The initial retainer is due upon contract signing, with the remaining balance due prior to the ceremony date as outlined in your individual service agreement. Accepted payment methods and schedules will be clearly itemized on your booking invoice.

Greg Olsen performs all duties with the highest standard of pastoral care, professionalism, and punctuality. In the unforeseen event of extreme illness, severe weather, or acts beyond human control that prevent attendance, every effort will be made to provide a qualified substitute ordained minister. Liability in all scenarios is strictly limited to the total fees paid for officiant services.

These Terms of Sacred Service and any accompanying agreements shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the state where the marriage ceremony occurs. Both parties agree to resolve any disagreements in good faith through personal dialogue before seeking formal legal remedies.
